At the August 2016 Luncheon, we held an educational panel discussion regarding reducing energy efficient transportation options in Las Vegas and for Nevada. Electric Vehicles (EVs) were available to test drive at the event!
Energy Efficient Options
With advances in technologies, low emission and no emission opportunities are now more attainable than ever before. Our goal was to bring business owners directly in touch with how these technologies can help them reduce their fuel usage and fuel costs, and the incentives that accompany them.
The panel included information specifically on commuting, transporting commerce and enjoying Southern Nevada while using as little fuel as possible.

Collin Burell – Solar NV
Even before moving to Las Vegas, I became intrigued by solar power, wind power, hybrid automobiles (still off in the future) and energy efficiency and began to reshape my career around that commitment. Since 2012, I have been on the Board of Directors for SolarNV (solarnv.org) since 2012 and have become a subject matter expert on the subject of Hybrid and Electric cars. I even have a website on the subject, electricshowroom.com. I have owned (2) Hybrids and I am on my 2nd EV (a 30 kWh Nissan Leaf) and I have a personal pledge to never own an internal combustion vehicle again.
