Springs Preserve Writing Workshop

December 9, 2017 @ 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

The Power of Children: Making a Difference is an exhibition first housed in The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. It focuses on the life story of three children who suffered hardship borne of prejudice — Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, and Ryan White.

This exhibit is currently visiting our own Springs Preserve (near Meadows Mall). If you have a membership, the workshop is free. If not, your admission fee includes access to the Springs Preserve and the Nevada State Museum all day.

Join Clark County Poet Laureate, Vogue Robinson on a tour and guided reflection of this powerful exhibit.

Robinson says:
To me, all writing is reflection. We will tour the exhibit, discuss it, and then write poetry using what we’ve discussed and seen as inspiration.

We are using the exhibit as a writing prompt.

Suggested ages: 13 & Up.
Kids: $5.00 Adults: $10.00
