Reducing Emissions: Energy Efficient Transportation Options

August 17, 2016 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

$15

The Green Chamber of Nevada invites you to join us in an educational panel discussion regarding reducing energy efficient transportation options in Las Vegas and for Nevada.  Our discussion will be held inside of the Collaboration Station at Switch.  Electric Vehicles(EVs) will be available to test drive at the event as well!

Energy Efficient Options

With advances in technologies, low emission and no emission opportunities are now more attainable than ever before. Our goal is to bring business owners directly in touch with how these technologies can help them reduce their fuel usage and fuel costs, and the incentives that accompany them.

This panel will include information specifically on commuting, transporting commerce and enjoying Southern Nevada while using as little fuel as possible. Guest panelists will include leading experts on electric vehicles, the regional transportation commission and biking trail experts.

Join us for networking and education with energy professionals, members and guests of the Green Chamber, a light lunch, and a clear idea of where this powerful industry is headed in our state.  Join us and help us make Nevada a brighter place.

Collin Burnell of Solar NV

Collin Burell – Solar NV

Even before moving to Las Vegas, I became intrigued by solar power, wind power, hybrid automobiles (still off in the future) and energy efficiency and began to reshape my career around that commitment.  Since 2012, I have been on the Board of Directors for SolarNV (solarnv.org) since 2012 and have become a subject matter expert on the subject of Hybrid and Electric cars. I even have a website on the subject, electricshowroom.com. I have owned (2) Hybrids and I am on my 2nd EV (a 30 kWh Nissan Leaf) and I have a personal pledge to never own an internal combustion vehicle again.
