In this 3-session class designed especially for home-educated students ages 6-12, we’ll examine the wonderful relationships people and plants have had through the ages from foods, fibers, shelter and so much more.
A large portion of class time will be in our new Teaching Garden for a true hands-on experience. Parent attendance is welcome but not required. Sessions will meet Wednesdays, January 17, 24, 31; 10am-12pm (ages 6-8), 1pm-3pm (ages 9-12.)
This class is part of our Let’s Get Growing! series for home-educated students. Science, technology, engineering and math will come alive in the Botanical Garden during these 3-week sessions. Explore more classes in this series at: https://www.springspreserve.org/events/?query=youth+garden
