Join us for our June Luncheon! Patrick Malone of Barrick Gold Corporation will be our speaker and will discuss the company’s sustainability vision, with a focus on mining and its connection to climate change, sage grouse, and water conservation.
Our Speakers
Patrick Malone oversees permitting and closure for Barrick Gold Company’s worldwide operations. This includes responsibility for making sure that Barrick continues to honor its commitments to clean water and wildlife even after mining is complete. Patrick was trained as a conservation biologist before he attended law school. He is originally from Houston, Texas, but lived in Utah for more than 20 years before moving to Toronto, Canada in 2016 to assume responsibility for Barrick’s environmental compliance program. He recently returned to the US to take up his current role and move his family to Henderson.
