Earth Day and March for Science

Every year approximately 30,000 people from across Northern Nevada gather in Reno to celebrate Earth Day. This festival is a day-long celebration featuring vendors, booths, and speakers. This year the event will also include a March for Science. A representative from the Nevada Conservation League will speak on the importance of advocating for sound climate science policies in our federal government alongside scientists from the Desert Research Institute and UNR.
