Climate Change and Tahoe Winter Sports Round Table

April 9, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We will gather business leaders and winter sports enthusiasts to speak about how climate change will impact the future of winter sporting in the Reno – Tahoe Area. In the last several years, the area has seen drastically reduced snowfall and higher temperatures in the Sierra Nevada, limiting opportunities for people to enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. As a result, many local businesses who depend on the snow have been economically hurt.
