All businesses and sponsors of the Green Chamber of Nevada are listed in our Member Directory and are able to submit job listings to our jobs board, pending review.
The Outside Las Vegas Foundation
To connect people to Southern Nevada’s special outdoor places.
The Outside Las Vegas Foundation (OLVF) is a collaborative, Las Vegas Valley-wide partner in creating a community that enjoys, values, and protects our unique outdoor spaces. We work across neighborhoods and jurisdictions to increase the quantity and quality of outdoor amenities; introduce and educate new publics; and inspire a fascination and respect of the outside world. Our goal is to provide the experience or opportunity that sparks your lifelong fascination of the great outdoors.
We believe that natural areas and open spaces hold many essential and irreplaceable benefits, and that the environment comprises a vast interconnected network of various communities, of which we are a part. Over the past few years of extensive development, our volunteer programs have expanded dramatically with members of the community who proudly give back to their community with thousands of man hours each month. Outside Las Vegas mobilizes these passionate volunteers to work closely with dozens of corporate, church and community organizations, which has made it the “go-to” volunteer coordinator for the City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County.
Our programs range from large-scale projects such as the Vegas Valley Rim Trail – a trail that will literally and figuratively link our communities to smaller-scale efforts that bring groups of school children out to experience the Mojave first-hand and our www.nvoutdoorkids.com website that provides information to educators, children and their parents.
