Imagine waking up and turning on the faucet to no water…Now imagine that instead of going to work or school you will spend the day walking to the nearest source, a polluted stream six miles away. Whatever you carry back has to provide for yourself and your family…This is the reality of thousands of people around the world…
Join us on Saturday, October 21, 2017 to pay tribute to individuals – mostly women and children – that make this journey everyday. Walk for Water participants will create a ribbon of blue t-shirts over the 2.7mi stretch between The Smith Center and Springs Preserve to bring awareness to global, and local water issues.
Your registration includes an event t-shirt and complimentary admission to a celebration at Springs Preserve, where you have the opportunity to win awesome raffle prizes, listen to music, enjoy free food, and play carnival games.
All proceeds benefit the ONE DROP Foundation. ONE DROP impacts communities around the world and also in Southern Nevada through a partnership with Springs Preserve.
Thank you for helping to bring ONE DROP’s mission to life! Your participation brings them one step closer to making access to water a reality for all, today and forever.
