Join Great Basin Water Network, Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, Sierra Club and Nevada Conservation League for the premiere of two short films exploring the importance of – and threats to – Nevada’s water supply.
These beautiful documentaries highlight the places and people that survive and thrive in the desert, and the impact of plans to take limited water and export it to our urban areas.
This FREE event will take place in the Auditorium at the Clark County Wetlands Park. The films have a combined run-time of 25 minutes, with discussion and Q&A following. Light refreshments will be provided.
First time to the Wetlands? Follow signs for the Nature Center. After parking, walk up the long ramp towards the administrative offices, information kiosk, visitor center and cafe. Follow the walkway past those doors and you’ll see signs for the auditorium area in the back.
